What Causes Bleeding From The Clitoris?

I had sex approximately 1 week ago whilst on my monthly cycle and during sex it was extremely uncomfortable. The next day my bleeding was very mild and i had extreme stomache pains. The pain has eased off however 2days later my period resumes and i notice that i'm bleeding from my clitorus. what can this be?
