What Causes Bleeding In Nose?

I am a male in my late 40s, i have nose bleeds for the last couple of months, i do not have them every day but a few times a week and when i do have them the bleeding is bad enough that i can fill a rag with blood.. what do you think this could be.? and what would be my best option to do?
