What Causes Bleeding Of Artery Post Liver Transplant?

My dad had a liver transplant 24hrs ago. Everything was looking good until just now.. All I was told was a artery was bleeding and he had to have surgery again immediately. He lives in Texas and I am in michigan so I have no one to ask these question to right now. Would this be his hepatic artery? If so are his chances of death high? Should I head to texas?
