What Causes Bleeding Through The Hair Follicles With Severe Migraine?

My daughter woke up last night (she had been taking a nap because she had a horrible migraine) and her head was bleeding. It looked like the bleeding was coming from her hair folicles. Like her head was "sweating" blood. We wiped it away and you could see it seeping out right away again. What could cause this. There is no injury or scratch. My daughter is 21 years old. Thank you.
