What Causes Bleeding While Passing Stools?

Hi I'm 24 female, for the last week i have been bleeding when i go to the toilet, not when i urinate, but the other. i've waited in hope that it would just go away. but i think i should go to the hospital tomorrow to get checked. what advice do you have?
