What Causes Blister Appear On Leg?

i need to know what i have on my leg i get blister in the same spot every couple of months on my left leg right above my knee the pop up so suddenly i dont know whats causing them i dont know if its a infection or wat they are very sore and they itch please help i would send you a pic but i cant
