What Causes Blisters In Mouth And Difficulty In Swallowing?

My 18 year old daughter has numerous white blisters on the back of her throat as well as around the inside of her mouth. She has a strange sensation of something being stuck in her throat and has difficulty swallowing, esp. in the morning. She does not have a fever, but has complained of a few headaches. Can you enlighten us?
