What Causes Blisters On Fingers And Joints?

I have been getting small blisters on my fingers right below the nail recently the blisters have formed near joints on the inside of my hands. I do have both rheumatoid and osteo arthritis. Does this have anything to do with it and how do I cure or prevent more of them?
