What Causes Blocked Ear And Pain Behind Left Eye After Discontinuing Dristan?

Hi I am finally 5 days free of Dristan nose spray after a 2 year addiction. My nasal passages are recovering. Things going good i used a nasal wash to help me off the spray. My left ear now feels blocked with some pain behind the left eye and a worsting head ache. Sound like a sinus infection or inner ear infection to you? Tom
