What Causes Blocked Feeling In Intestine?

I think i have a fecal impaction but im not sure, i dont have any urge to pass stool but it just feels like theres something blocking my instestine, i dont have any rectal bleeding or nausea or dehydration, but i do have lower back pain from trying to push, but im still not sure if im pushing a hard stool or just contracting my bowel muscles for no reason. What could be the issue here? is it all in my head?
