What Causes Blocked Nose While Laying Down?

Dear sir have some serious problem in my Nosal Cavity, when i lie on my bed in night for sleep, then after 2 to 3 hours i feel that my nose is blocked from left side, thus i face too much hardship in breathing. I have also consulted some physician,surgon. He recommend some test Heamatology and found my ESR at 11 1st hrs Now My question from you is "Whether it is necessary to operate or such problem can be resolved through medicines only" i can provide you the scanned copy of test and x-ray as well as prescription at your email.address.
