What Causes Blocked Nostril After Undergoing Septoplasty?

I just had septoplasty and am really scared right now because i went in today and had the gauzes taken from my nose and for a brief period of time i could breathe through one nostril but absolutely no airflow through the other. Is this normal? I am also experiencing a burning sensation.
