What Causes Blood Blisters And Swelling In Tonsils?

Hi, I have a swollen tonsil and hurts to swallow. I can see white bits all over it and now theres what looks like a blood blister on it too. any ideas what this could be? at first i thought tonsillitis but whenever i get that, i completely lose my voice and i havent lost it at all this time...
