What Causes Blood Clot In Liver Despite Having Xarelto?

Hi I take xarelto 15mg once a day. I took it for a clot in my liver. The clot has now gone and been gone for a couple of months and my liver is 100% no damage or negative effects from the clot. Unfortunately after multiple test my hematologist has decided to keep me on xarelto for the rest of my life. Due to the fact this is my second clot and they can t figure out why its happening. Im only 26 and although im not a very big drinker in the first place. I do on occasion like to have a few drinks at a birthday or something. Ive been researching and been getting mixed answers...is it safe to drink alcohol on xarelto? Also since I currently have nothing wrong with me other than the fact my body gets blood clots randomly, which is quite bad actually...but right now I don t have any clots or anything... Would it be alright to skip a dose for a day..have a few drinks then take the dose the next day? Like a full 24hr period? Thanks
