What Causes Blood Clot In Urine After Having Sex?

I had sex and straight after I went to urinate and saw suddenly a clot of blood came out while I was urinating. No pain as far as I can recall. It happened and again and then stopped. What could cause it or what should I do to prevent it. Am I sick or was it a sign of becoming sick. I am 42 years old male
