What Causes Blood Clots Discharge During Periods While Having Fibroid?

I am 35 now, about 5.5 in height and weigh 55. I have had candida infection before but other than that have never had any medical problems. recently though i was diagnosed with fibroid[really small]. about 10yrs ago i had an abortion after which i bled continously[not heavy, more like clothes] for about 2weeks. do u think something went wrong?
