What Causes Blood Clots From Nostril Along With Painful Ear?

Hi, i have suffered with a cold this week and its been on my chest aswell. Today ive noticed when ive been blowing my nose that ive been having blood clots from my left side of my nose and my ear seems to be hurting aswell on my left side. Is this anything to worry about.
