What Causes Blood Discharge From The Vagina?

I am having a regular menstrual cycle , the last being started on April 17th. From this month we are looking for our second child. I am 33 yr old and having the clinical history of fibroid, minor ones on the peripheral so of the uterus. Today I have spotted few drops of blood . Is this the one which occurs during ovulation period or is it due to the fibroid.Awaiting ur advice
