What Causes Blood Discharge In The Stool?
Hello Doctor,
My husband experienced some blood in his stool today and is very concerned about it.
He has Alzheimer's so he has difficulty answering the questions I ask him about how much blood there was (he flushed before he told me about it.) He is gluten intolerant (test verified). I try hard to keep him away from food he shouldn't eat, but I'm wondering if he eats something with gluten if that could cause the bleeding. Any help you could give us would be much appreciated!!
