What Causes Blood Discharge In The Stool?

Sir, I see gushing of blood after normal bowel. This happens to me occasionally. There is no pain in the abdomen as of now. But a slight discomfort is felt all through the day till the problem gets subsides. So far I have not used any medicine or application for the same. Kindly guide me please.
