29 years old; 5'5"; 130 lbs; current prescriptions for ADHD (Dextroamphetimine) and depression (Fluoxetine); prescription for birth control pill (Yasmin 28) up until two or three months ago; no major health issues.
Approximately two weeks ago, twice, I had a some bright red blood in my stools and toilet paper. Today, twice again, I had some pinkish-whitish discharge on the toilet paper after my bowel movement but my stools didn't appear to be bloody. Every time, my stools were a healthy shade of brown like a cork board or dirt, certainly not white or black.
I was supposed to get my period on June 6 but it didn't come. I took a pregnancy test June 6 & 7 with the results showing I'm not pregnant. To the best of my knowledge, I didn't ovulate during my May to June cycle, which I understand could be normal for someone coming off of birth control. However, I have mild bloating, so presumably I'm going to ovulate soon (even though I have never had ovulation symptoms prior to ovulation) or maybe it was something I ate.
Considering my love of junk food, soy chai tea, soda and flavored water; my dislike for most vegetables and plain water; and the face that one of my prescriptions causes constipation (which is super common for me), I chalked it up to hemorrhoids due to lack of a proper diet and/or dehydration and didn't give it much more thought. I'm just checking with you to see if I should give it more time and, if so, how much more time before I visit a doctor's office or if I should go into worry mode right now. I have a high deductible and I really don't want to make a hospital visit.
My job keeps me moving at a fast pace and I have poor posture, so my lower back hurts a little but I read that a backache is something you should look out for. I have been getting split second waves of dizzy spells but I also chalked it up to dehydration and the fact that I ran out of Dexedrine a few days ago (I will pick up a new prescription next week, don't worry. I worked overtime this week and just haven't had the time to go). Other than those perfectly explainable tiny issues, I'm feeling fine.
