What Causes Blood In Urine?

I had test done and it came back 2+ in my urine. ( blood traced). I was told to go to a urologist .by my dr. Everything else in my blood work, chest ex ray and urine was normal except that. Am I wasting my time and money and jumping the gun when everything else was ok. This is the first time my dr said blood was in my urine.
