What Causes Blood In Vomiting Followed By Nosebleeds?

HI. 3 WEEKS AGO MY DAUGHTER HAD A STOMACH VIRUS. She started throwing up a lot of blood. I took her to the em. room. They said she had a mallory tear in the stomach lining due to excessive vomiting. A week later, she started having chronic nosebleeds every day. Today her nose bled in the morning then in the afternoon, numerous clots and lots of blood continued to flow. I am not sure why she is losing so much blood and during the last month. I will take her to the doctor tomorrow and get her blood work.
