What Causes Blood Like Discharge From Belly Button?

hey, I just had a question; there is a weird discharge coming from bellybutton, it looks as if its blood, but not sure...it doesn't hurt or itch, I only notice it when taking a shower...its been going on for a week...I think it might be an infection or something??
