What Causes Blotchy Raised Bumps On The Skin?

I have blotchy raised bumps all over my skin. I've never had this before, but they are irritating me as they are very itchy. They don't exactly have a colour, but i can see the edges quite clearly. Do you have any idea what could they be? How can i treat them naturally without going to the doctors?
