What Causes Blotchy Rash On Underarms, Torso And Neck With Dry Patches?

I have a blotchy rash on my arms (undersides), down the side on my torso and on my neck. I have had it for almost three weeks now. It has dry patches also and is worse after I shower. It is not particularly itchy although after I shower it is mildly itchy. I can't think of any changes in my diet etc. that would have caused it - other than that I had been taking a combination of yasmin and minocin for 6 months for acne and have just finished a month long break from the medication. Any thoughts on what the cause of the rash could be?
