What Causes Breathlessness And Eye Rolling Despite Being Diagnosed With GERD?

My husband will lose his breath to the point of passing out. His eyes roll back in his head, turns blue and jerks. He has a lot of sinus drainage and he coughs a lot. It is very scary when he has an attack. He comes out of it and can t remember anything about it. He has GERD and is on blood pressure medicine. It looks like he is having a seizure of some kind.
