What Causes Brown And Pink Vaginal Bleeding?

I had sex during my period & my boyfriend discharged in me then a on the 8 of March I started birth control for a few days but stopped taking it because I kept getting sick. I ve been off my period for almost two weeks but yesterday I noticed that I was bleeding again only it was brown & today it looks more red/pink then brown. Could I be pregnant?
