What Causes Brown And Pink Vaginal Spotting After Having Protection Sex?

i am supposed to get my period on december 12. my period last month was normal and i even took a preg test and it was negative. i am on the pill and use condoms. today i got some brown and pink spotting, heavy enough to use a tampon. could this be spotting because i am stressed or implantation bleeding?
