What Causes Brown And Red Spots Around Vagina After Shaving?

I waxed my bikini area or at least tried. It did not work. I had formerly shaved and maybe not let it grow in enough. I was told I bought a very bad product also. Anyway the problem is that I ended up with discoloration. Brown in a couple of areas and in other places red spots. I am very worried about it being permanent?
