What Causes Brown Discharge With Blood Clots?

Hi i am 19 and on the pill, although i hav missed the pill a few nights ago, this had never happend before. i have been felling unwell over the past week but besides that nothing has changed. i noticed a bad smell today and when i went to look i noticed brown discharge with some blood clots what could this be?
