What Causes Brown Discharge?

Hello Doctor. Well for the past four days I noticed that I've been getting discharge that is brown and it is sometimes more liquid than a jelly solid and on two occasions my urine was very red, I even thought that perhaps I was on my periods again but it was not my periods of course, because I had gotten them two weeks before.

Could this be a sign of an STI or perhaps a bladder infection or something?
