What Causes Brown Nasal Discharge?

Hello, I have this nasty brown substances discharging from my left tonsil. It has a very wretched/foul smell and taste. It makes me sick to my stomach. I had my wisdom teeth removed about 9-10 days ago and it just occured. I've been using the oral pick to drain it out my mouth but it oozes about 10 minutes after clean up. PLEASE HELP
