What Causes Brown Spotting And Problem In Bowel Movement After Myomectomy?

My period just ended after my myomectomy (surgery was 2/4) and I was spotting a bit after still, but now the spotting is sort of a brownish color... should I be concerned? Also, still having problems with bowel movements -- had a huge bowel movement on Friday but since then only a couple teeny ones -- not a regular sized one. how long before I should be worried about that? I'm making sure to get up and walk around a little but not overdoing it. Saw my dr on 2/9 to get staples out and she said everything was healing nicely.
