What Causes Brown Spotting Between Periods?

It has been 64 days since my last period I don t remember the first day of my last period but I do know last time I had my period was around January 9th. I have taken multiple pregnancy test and all come out negative. Now for the past 5 days I have been spotting brownish blood, I have no other pregnancy symptoms, what could be the cause of this?
