What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge Along With Bad Odour While On Paragard IUD?

I have had the paragard IUD in for about 2 and a half months and things were pretty normal up until a few weeks ago. I have had a constant brown, gooey discharge for 2 weeks. It has a strange oder and it wavers in heaviness. I m wondering if this is normal, if it will go away, and whether or not it s a problem?
