What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

Good Day Im in my 12 week of pregnancy and sometimes have brown discharge when i wipe myself. Im seriously worried because I had a miscarriage before and this is all very stressful. And ontop of this I don t feel any hardness when I press my my lower belly. My first scan appointment is tomorow. Please Help me understand this. Thank you in advance
