What Causes Brown Vaginal Discharge?

In march of 11 I had my monthly at the beginning of the month ending on the 8th. On the 14th i was in a bad car accident. when i was released i had a brown discharge for 1 day only. In april i never had my monthly. Ive taken a pregancy test and the result is a light positive. When i was in the hosiptal i was unconscience so would they have cheecked me for pregnancy before giving me the medication they did. such as hydrocodone and morphine. when they removed the tube from my lung she had given me a pain med i hadd never heard of before and it took away all my pain and made me super loopy
