What Causes Brownish Vaginal Bleeding?

Hi I woke up this morning with vaginal bleeding but it is mostly brownish...i lifted two heavy objects yesterday up to my attic and wanted to know if that could have caused it....i am not due for my period for another two and half weeks so it can't be my period
