What Causes Bruise On Belly After Having C-section?

Hi I still have a bruise on my belly under my navel after having a c section over 3 months ago. The doctor said I had some internal bleeding and it shouldn t be serious, but that was at the 3 week follow up appointment. Why haven t i healed yet? Please advise.
