What Causes Bruises In Mouth With White Spots??

I woke up today with a bruise inside my mouth with a white spot in the middle, and it hurts quite alot, i want to know if i leave it or if i have to do something about it and if it will happen again because this is the first time that ive ever experienced this and i dont have a clue as to what it is
