What Causes Bruises On Legs And Intense Feeling Of Exhaustion?

A few months ago I had several bruises appear on my legs & had intense feelings of exhaustion. After blood tests it was determined I was low in folic acid and given a prescription. Recently I had the same symptoms & although the doctor told me bruises and anaemia were not related he agreed on more blood tests, this time it was determined I was low in iron and given a prescription. I am still currently taking the iron but the feeling of exhaustion still comes in waves and more bruises have just appeared.
