What Causes Bruising And Raised Rashes After Drawing Blood For Test?

My Mom gets her blood tested every 2 weeks because she is on coumadin. They use the arm where she had breast cancer and lymph nodes removed because it is the only place they can get blood. she had it drawn last thurs, now it is very bruised and she has a raised rash that seems to be in a straight line
