What Causes Bruising At The Lower Abdominal Area?

Hi I have just had a termination yesterday and whilst I was not expecting it to be pleasent I am concerned that whilst I have used painkillers I just do not feel very comfortable at all and have noticed bruising of my lower abdomen area which explains some of the discomfort and pain. But is it normal to have bruising or should I see a doctor?
