What Causes Bubbles In Lower Back?

I ve been weightlifting a few months ago and just noticed what feels like bubbles in my lower back, perhaps 0.25-0.75 inch in diameter. They are just below the skin. I wonder what they are, and if they could be related to weightlifting (squats, bench press, and deadlifts mainly).
