What Causes Bulky Uterus With Cyst In Ovary?

Now I am 48 yrs old lady. since from 15 days bleeding scan report shows cyst in left overy i.e., 4 mm. & I have also bulky uterus, doctor advised 19-4-11 do d.m.c., and then decided to remove uterus or not. My question is removal of uterus is good or bad in further life. I have 2 sons, 1st is 22 yrs old, & 2nd is 19 yrs old, both are seizerians, If utuerus is removed by hand opertion or by laproscopic, please guide me which one is good.
