What Causes Bump On Eyelid Of Children?

my son has had a bump on his eye lid for about a year. I took him to the pediatrician and they said it was a Sty and prescribed some eye drops. it looks like a clogged follicle. i have been putting a warm wash cloth onto his eyelid. what else can i do?
