What Causes Bump On White Part Of Eye And Redness In Eyes?

My granddaughter has redness in both eyes, but they do not itch. She also has a small bump on the white of her eyeball in one eye. Her eyes have also been stuck shut in the morning. Could this be pink eye? I m concerned about the small bump on the white part of her eye.
