What Causes Bumps All Over The Body Of A Child?

Hi, my baby has rash-like bumps all over her face, ears, chin and neck. I asked her doctor and he simply said, "O they're nothing." I still would like to know what they could be and if i need to look out for anything in reference to them. I know baby's have baby acne, but how do i know if it gets too bad?
