What Causes Bumps And Itching On Scalp?

I have had a minor infestation of bed bugs for a few months and we've been treating for it but just recently ive been getting a really itchy scalp, usually i wash my hair every other day because my hair is dry..before i thought it was bed bugs biting me but ive heard they dont like hair and there is no lice in my hair at all.. is it just dandruff or itchy scalp? there is a lot of flaking but also some small bumps and sores but it might be from itching..
